I love this picture and since I live in a place were I really get to see the seasons change, the harvest in action, this picture is more significant for me now. When I was growing up in SoCal, the only thing that really let you know the seasons were changing were the different holiday decorations in department stores.:)Grandma Moses is also such an interesting figure in art. First she is a woman, but she was also quite a bit older than your average artist at the height of her fame. So way to go Grandma Moses and thank you for the beautiful soul-filled folk art you are famous for!
